Joint Construction [Production]
This is where we get students to work together and create their own version, this is more a fluency exercise than an accuracy exercise.
Some ideas for this part of the session are:
Transfer the genre to another situation but stay with the same genre(S);
Instructions for what needs to be produced after listening(L);
Activity for accuracy(R)(W)(L)(S);
Activity for fluency(R)(W)(L)(S);
Check comprehension(S)(L);
Speaking/ Writing about a topic [For speaking/ listening lessons](R)
We can think now how to mix things up; have students doing things together, we can even make it focused on getting the grammar right, or we can relax a little and just give students the chance to try to communicate without much interference.
